The company has secured development approval from Albury Council this week for the venture which includes construction of a 8435-square-metre factory.
Millform will have 15 people working in the factory and another five in a 990-square-metre office attached to the production site.
The company, according to its website, was formed in Albury 40 years ago and also has a presence in western Sydney and Mount Gambier.
A representative from the company was reluctant to comment when contacted on Friday.
But a development application lodged in mid-January said the major activity on the site would be cold rolled forming of sheet metal building products.
The proposal was approved under council staff delegation.
The company presently operates in Racecourse Road but will relocate to nearby Ceres Drive.
Millform was formerly situated in Fallon Street but the site was compulsorily acquired as part of the Albury internal freeway construction.
Other elements of the Ceres Drive expansion include a large fenced hardstand area for the parking and manoeuvring of heavy vehicles, truck wash and car parking areas for staff.
It's expected there will be about five truck movements per day from the site situated in the Airside North industrial estate near the Albury racecourse.
“Millform is an Australian owned and operated company with over 40 years’ experience in roll forming design and techniques,” the company website said.
“Business growth has been achieved largely through word of mouth as customers recommend our service to others in the industry.”
Airside North was a joint venture between Albury Council and the former Albury-Wodonga Corporation with other companies including Bluescope, Ullrich Aluminium, Xypex, Specialty Press and Metalflex already established in the relatively new area.
Millform's head office is located in Eastern Creek with Albury the centre for engineering and manufacturing of products for construction.
It transports products Australia-wide on its own fleet of trucks.
