STUDENTS at Murray High School had a simple message to share for Harmony Day – everyone belongs.

The school organised every student to spell the message out for an impressive aerial photograph using orange placards.

Head of wellbeing Donna Glass said the student body had really gotten behind the celebration.

“Each year students have worn a splash of orange and donated a gold coin to support a Smith Family foster child,” she said.

“We have a large population of Bhutanese and Congolese students, of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander students.

“The last ten years have brought a whole new flavour to the school, for the better.”
