Singles victories in tie breaks to David Lake and Scott Stolle helped Forrest Hill Blues navigate their way past Forrest Hill Eagles in a hard fought section one men’s clash.
Marcus Busch also played well in the 5 – 1 victory with Matthew Paull and Cameron Scholz grabbing a doubles rubber for Eagles.
Zac Burhop and Isaac Dallinger stole tie break singles wins in SPD’s 5 sets to 1 salute over Wodonga Bulldogs.
Thurgoona, with Brock Dixon and Aaron Breust firing, defeated Galahs.
