Albury skipper Kade Brown believes BJ Garvey (pictured) could be a match-winner for Wodonga against Lavington at Tallangatta this weekend.
- Kade Brown (Albury): It’s tough. I will lean towards Wodonga because it has too many X-factors in Jack Craig, Robbie Jackson and BJ Garvey. Nathan Brown’s injury won’t help Lavington either.
- Kane Arendarcikas (St Patrick’s): Wodonga. I think it will be Wodonga’s batting versus Lavington’s bowling and the Tallangatta wicket should suit Wodonga’s batting. Both innings should go 80 overs and I think Wodonga may have the firepower to get a bigger total.
- Trent Ball (Tallangatta): The Bulldogs should win, but Lavington’s in form and a good chance.
- Matt Jaensch (Belvoir): Wodonga. I think they will have a bit too much depth. I thought they were the best side all year.
- Nick McDonald (New City): Wodonga. Their experience should shine through in the end even though Lavington has some momentum. In second grade, I think Belvoir will get up.
- Brendan Simmons (North Albury): I think Wodonga deserve to start favourites. It will be a battle between the Dogs’ batsmen and Lavington’s bowlers to see who comes out on top.
- Richard Harvey (Wodonga Raiders): Lavington is playing well over its last two or three matches while Wodonga has been a bit hit and miss with the bat.
