Hook in2 Hockey runs on Saturday mornings and is designed for boys and girls aged 10 and under.
The program gives budding stars the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey and make friends, all while beginning their lifelong love of hockey.
The local association is one of just four statewide to have a 'girls only' pilot program, which currently has 23 participants, with the numbers growing.
After Hook In2 Hockey, interested players can join the under 10 program where they will begin to play games before moving up into the age divisions of the local competition.
Albury Hockey Centre has a hockey gala day on Saturday from 9.30am for all juniors to come and try.
All players are encouraged to bring a friend along on the day, with every junior who signs up to receive a free movie ticket.
