The Bible Society of Australia is turning 200 and will mark the event with the “One Night” concert showcasing local talent and Melbourne-based, Planetshakers Band.
Dan Leeworthy from Gateway Life Church said the appearance of Planetshakers in Albury was a coup.
"They are one of the biggest Christian bands in the world and have toured stadiums in the US," he said.
"They’re going to be right here in Albury for free."
The Jesus Racing Ute will also be at the event to engage people and to spread a message of positive life choices for young people.
There will also be food trucks, games and giveaways to provide the event with a festival feel.
“We really want everyone to come on down and check out the vibe and hear the music," co-organiser Georgia Boehringer from Wodonga Baptist Church said.
Mayfair Lane and Anna Leeworthy will also be playing a mixture of chilled acoustic tune and rock/pop.
A family focused antique bible roadshow will also be held in QEII Square on Saturday from 10am.
