Car not stolen, but seized
TWO men who thought their car had been stolen now face charges when police inquiries revealed the vehicle had been seized at a crime scene.

Benalla police said the Shepparton men, aged in their 20s, visited Benalla police station early Saturday morning to report the supposed theft.
“Then they found out their car wasn’t stolen, it was seized by police at a crime scene earlier in the night,” police said.
The men were arrested, interviewed and then bailed to appear at Benalla Magistrates Court at a later date on theft and drugs charges.
