Murray carded rounds of 73, 72, 68, 69 to finish at six-under par, one ahead Western Australia’s Min Woo Lee and Ben Ferguson and round three leader Douglas Klein.
It was the 19-year-old’s first win since January 2015.
“I was over the back at one and chipped in, which was a nice way to get the day started,” Murray said.
“I birdied three and played pretty steady up until the ninth to get to one-under for the front nine, which kept me around the mark.
“I managed to birdie 14 and eagle 15, which gave me a bit of buffer going into the last three holes.
“It was a good up and down on the last to post six-under.”
The SA Classic adds to his building resume which includes a win at the Master of The Amateurs in 2015.
