Albury woman Judy Brinbley is behind the meetings, but said the fifth on Sunday would be their “swansong”.
“I was an only child and I used to seek the friendship of the other girls – I think that’s what’s driven me to keep up with the reunions,” she said.
The college, affectionately named ‘St Joseph’s Larrikins College’ is now St Patrick’s School Albury.
Mrs Brinbley said the group, who left their intermediate class 70 years ago at 16, were now all in their 80s.
“Having a reunion in another 10 years would be optimistic,” she said.
“I don’t think it’s sad, I think it’s a reflection of what we mean to each other.”
