Former soccer player turned footballer Kyle Maynard has signed with Josh Lee, Nick Gilbert and Ned McCormack at Mitta.
Mitta United recruiting manager Phil Packer said the new recruits will play in the vicinity of 12 games this season.
“They played in a grand final together at Caufield last year and just wanted to get back to playing some country footy,” Packer said.
Maynard spent time at Wodonga Raiders after his switch from the round ball code and is likely to play on the wing at Mitta.
McCormack debuted as a teenager at Wodonga in 2011 and will be a dangerous half-forward.
Lee played thirds with the club and can hold a key post at centre half-back, while Nick Gilbert will provide another option up front as a key forward.
