Victory Lutheran College grade 3 students Georgia Evans, 8, Imogen Duncan and Ella Rose, both 9, inspired their peers to make laminated bookmarks to sell in their lunch breaks.
Priced at 20 cents each, they raised about $53.
Victory Lutheran College grade 3 teacher Kate Woodman said it was a relevant and purpose-led exercise.
“They were motivated to pursue their own learning through marketing and handling money,” she said.
The students donated the money to the school chapel fundraiser, which goes to Royal Children’s Hospital in Term 1.
