In section one, Sally Bulle led her side to a four sets to two salute over Spencer.
Bulle received solid backup from Helen Fuge, Helen Curtis and Sarah Parker, with Diane Star best for Spencer.
Hodges were slow to warm to the task in their section two battle against Barber and lost the first rubber, but quickly regrouped to run away with victory.
Denise Sheil, Leonie Hodges, Sandra Langford and Jenny Latta combined brilliantly all morning, while Ros Barber and Marg Jacob were good in the early stages for Barber.
It was all level after four sets in the section three finale between Huckstepp and Webb, before Huckstepp pushed on to claim the final two rubbers to seal a 4-2 triumph.
Brenda Huckstepp, Gillian Dwerryhouse, Suzie Finlay and Judy Musgrave all contributed to the win, while Chris Denby was a two-set winner for Webb.
Winter pennant kicks off on Tuesday, May 2.
