The Bushrangers beat Oakleigh Chargers by four points in their final match at Craigieburn on Friday to finish with a 5-0 win-loss record.
Despite being undefeated, the Bushrangers finished second to Calder Cannons on percentage.
“It was a good season,” Ahmet said.
“Not so much because we were undefeated but more how fast it has grown in the area especially with the North East girls.
“There was a lot of improvement as a team and they gelled really well together,
“The girls have been really good.”
The Murray Bushrangers defeated Sandringham Dragons, Bendigo Pioneers, Gippsland Power and Geelong Falcons earlier in the competition.
