Resort communications manager Jo Prothero said visitation was the best she’d seen in five years.
“We’ve had all sorts of advanced riders out here for the summit challenge, with the ski lift open for mountain bikers and for scenic rides for pedestrians,” she said.
“On Sunday we had a big breakfast, egg hunt and 70 teams in an egg toss.”
Ms Prothero said with less than 50 days to go, excitement was building for the ski season opening.
“After Easter is when the operators come back in – everyone’s pumped after a big winter last year,” she said.
