A MAN caught shooting apples at Mungabareena Reserve is facing a string of weapons charges.
The 31-year-old was spotted by a member of the public about 2.30pm on Sunday on Doctors Point Road.
Police arrived and found the man with an air rifle.
The man holds a current gun licence, but the air rifle was unregistered.
He was charged with seven firearms offences including using a gun in or near a public place and possessing an unauthorised firearm, and will face Albury Local Court on May 16.
