Mulwala allowed Yarrawonga, Tungamah and Rennie members free gate entry to its game on Good Friday and the same benefit was available to Mulwala, Rennie and Tungamah members to Yarrawonga’s Easter Sunday game.
“Here’s an opportunity for keen football and netball followers to watch footy and netball somewhere nearly every weekend over the footy season,” Yarrawonga Football Netball Club president Andrew Mott said.
“It’s also another great benefit of being a member of one of the clubs in our district.”
All of the club’s presidents see it as a positive move and hope it can continue.
Yarrawonga has a bye this weekend, which will allow its members to head to Rennie, Tungamah or Mulwala’s home matches on Saturday.
