A MALE driver from Sandy Creek has died after a crash at Tallandoon on Monday afternoon.
The 21-year-old’s car, a Suzuki Swift, was travelling south along Lockharts Gap Road when it struck a tree around 4.15pm.
The man died at the scene.
Police, ambulance paramedics, CFA firefighters and SES volunteers attended the crash site.
The driver became the third man to die on Border roads in less than a week.
Last week men from Wangaratta and Brocklesby died in separate crashes.
