CORRYONG coach Evan Nicholas faces a selection nightmare ahead of Saturday’s opening round clash against Federal at Corryong.

The Demons have recruited strongly over the off-season with Nicholas believing up to 35 players could play senior football.

Recruits Danny Demarte, Jason Gentile, Kyle and Matt McNamara and Jarrod Williams will complement an already powerful list.

“It’s not going to be easy on Thursday night,” Nicholas said.

“We have a lot of players and some are going to be disappointed.

“Nine years ago I started coaching and this is the first time I haven’t made a phone call over the off-season trying to get players.”

Corryong has retained its entire grand final side and should start the season with a win against the Swans who will unfurl their premiership flag.
