COROWA-Rutherglen reserves players have worn black armbands in memory of Jason Shields during their game on Saturday. Mr Shields died when his Suzuki Swift ran off the side of Lockharts Gap Road and hit a tree at Tallandoon on Tuesday. Players paid tribute to the late Sandy Creek man, 21, in their clash against Wangaratta Rovers. One of Mr Shields’ relatives plays in the reserves side.
