Springdale Heights woman Tammie Parnaby, 34, was arrested in February after a police investigation into ice supply spanning several months.
Parnaby is facing eight charges, including ongoing methamphetamine supply from November 16 to December 14 last year, and supply charges up until a week before her arrest.
Her co-accused, Benjamin Paul Heather, 31, allegedly supplied ice in deals of up to half-a-kilogram.
He has been charged with ongoing ice supply and making commercial-scale drug deals.
It’s alleged he supplied 359.5 grams of the drug in Lavington on February 8, 123.8 grams about the same time, 92 grams of the drug on February 2 and 88.5 grams on February 1.
He allegedly supplied 55.5 grams on January 18 with further supply offences.
Parnaby, who appeared in Albury Local Court on Monday, successfully applied to be bailed to attend the Calvary Riverina Drug and Alcohol Centre at Wagga.
The court heard there was a very strong prosecution case against the 34-year-old for ongoing drug supply, with prior convictions.
The drugs were allegedly sold in Lavington, Springdale Heights and Glenroy.
A crown prosecutor did not oppose bail.
But magistrate Tony Murray said he was concerned a surety of $1000 being offered was “woefully inadequate”.
He said the alleged ice syndicate had supposedly reaped in $25,000 in profits.
Parnaby would be going to jail if convicted, he said.
The court heard Parnaby had played a lesser role than Heather, and would therefore receive a lesser sentence.
Police had raided Heather’s Parkland Crescent home in Lavington on February 14 and seized bags of ice, cash, mobile phones and other items.
Parnaby was arrested the following day.
Police at the time said the arrests would have a significant impact on supply in the region.
Parnaby has seven charges pending before court and Heather has 11 charges.
Neither has entered pleas.
Heather is in Junee jail and his matter was heard briefly on Monday.
He will return to court on May 22.
Parnaby’s matter will be heard the same day, but she is excused from appearing in person if she remains in rehab.
She is banned from coming into the Albury region, except to attend legal hearings.
She smiled after being granted bail.
