Brodie Filo tore Wodonga apart with 46 possessions in Wodonga Raiders’ 32-point ANZAC Day win.
And the good news is, he’s keen to play at representative level.
“Yeah, I love the rep footy, I’ve always tried to play it where I can, so I’d love to play the GV,” he said.
That will delight co-coaches Darrell Spencer and Jon Henry.
“He was great, he’s so classy, and he’s got that pace to break away,” Raiders’ coach Daryn Cresswell said.
Even the opposition coach had praise for the midfield dynamo.
“He got us, there’s no doubt about that, but that’s a midfield group issue, they had to take responsibility for that,” Dean Harding said.
On a day which started with sunshine, but then had torrential rain in the second term, leaving conditions difficult for the rest of the match, Filo was the one player who handled it with ease.

He kicked two goals, including a superb 45-metre effort in the third term.
But, just as importantly, he set up a handful of others.
Late in the the first quarter, Filo and Wodonga giant Matt Seiter were running at a loose ball.
Seiter had him lined up, but Filo not only had the courage to scoop it up, he had the class to weave past the Bulldogs’ ruckman and find Jackson Kelly with a 40-metre pass.
Filo, who turned 27 earlier this month, is also one of the league’s best kicks on both feet in the past decade, trailing only former North Albury coach Jason Akermanis for penetration.
