Diamonds in particular have had a horror run with injuries, but have managed to take 12 points from the opening five rounds, while Melrose sit two wins back on six points.
“It’s kind of all over the field, we’ve got a few in the backline, a few in the mids and our striker (Jovana Bukvic) has got an ankle injury,” Diamonds’ Blair Rankin said.
“We’ve had ankles, knees, backs, hips, everything’s gone, but I feel confident about this weekend, we should be able to give a good fight.”
Melrose’s Ashlea Thurnam will miss the clash with an ankle strain, but is confident there is enough quality to come into the side.
She admitted it has been a tough start to the year for Melrose with the draw, having only played three times in six weeks with a bye in between every match.
