In a coup for Murrumbidgee Turf Club, Berry will be one of the guest speakers at the Wagga Town Plate luncheon before riding on both days.
Berry has been booked to ride Cool Chap for Lee and Anthony Freedman in the $150,000 Wagga Gold Cup (2000m).
Berry, 26, has missed the last couple of Wagga carnivals and cannot wait to get trackside next week.
“I’m very excited. The Scone and Wagga carnivals have always been my favourite, I can’t really split them, and they’re something I look forward to every year,” Berry said.
“You have the autumn and spring carnivals, and then for me, it’s Wagga and Scone.
“They’re always a great couple of days. You get a good night out on the Thursday, catch up with a lot of people and then go and do it all again riding the next day.”
