Wilson is preparing for another tough clash against the Hobart Chargers at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre on Saturday night and knows getting experience into the younger players is the most important thing.
“Last year we started by playing (Steph) Gorman and (Mel) Kirby a lot of minutes and this year we’ve added Olivia Barber and Casey Ardern, who are both only 14 at the moment,” Wilson said.
“What they’ve been able to give us on the floor has been fairly special for 14-year-old kids to be able to do that.”
Emma Mahady is a notable absence and will return from the United States on Tuesday, but otherwise the Lady Bandits will have a full complement of players.
Wilson added Kathleen Scheer and former Lady Bandit Alex Ciabattoni will be the two keys to keep a close eye on for Hobart.
