Nine schools from across the region descended on Albury across several venues.
Corowa High School, Albury High School, Xavier High School, The Scots School, St Pauls College, Trinity Anglican College, Billabong High School, James Fallon High School and Murray High School contested matches in under 16s and 14s boys and under 15s girls.
The semi-finalists were decided after a busy schedule played at Lavington Oval, Urana Road Oval, Xavier High School and The Scots School.
In the under 16s boys, Xavier will face Murray High, while Albury High meet Scots.
The same four teams will also meet in the under 15s girls matches, while Xavier will take on Albury High and Billabong comes up against Trinity in the under 14s boys semi-finals.
AFL NSW-ACT Development Coordinator for the Albury-Murray region Jack Bradley said it was a fantastic day across all three age groups.
“AFL staff were again impressed at the improvement in skill level for the under 15s girls games,” Bradley said.
“All games were played in great spirit, with the top four performing teams in each age progressing through to the semi-finals.”
All semi-finals will be played at Xavier High School on Wednesday, May 17.
The grand final will be contested under lights at Lavington Oval on Wednesday, June 14.
