Updated plans from the Lavington Gospel Trust for the $460,000 church on the corner of Kerr Road and Shepherd Court have been lodged with Albury Council.
The only activities on the site will be worship, prayer and bible readings with weddings, funerals and baptisms to take place at another church in Webb Street, Lavington.
Another gathering will take place on Sundays at either 3pm or 5pm with other services to be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning at 6.30pm.
The public submission period has ended and it's been confirmed the development application will be determined by councillors and not staff under delegation.
The application prepared on behalf of the Lavington Gospel Trust states: "This facility will allow the congregation of parishioners to worship, undertake prayers, preaching, bible readings and unaccompanied hymns.
"All activities are undertaken inside the building and no external amplification is used.
"Worship is considered to be quiet reflective mainstream traditional Christian, rather than evangelical or non-liturgical.
"Music, either recorded or live is not utilised during services.
"No large scale social activities will take place at said address, as the onsite facilities do not support this use.
"There will be no alcohol consumed on site."
No signage has been proposed and a boundary fence will be 1.8 metres high.
The church building including covered drop-off area will occupy about 272.5 square metres which represents about 12 per cent of the total site area.
Parking for 23 vehicles including two disabled spaces are included in the plans.
A traffic and safety management plan has been submitted as part of the development application.
It includes stipulations vehicles aren't permitted to proceed past the property to the end of Shepherd Court when attending church services.
Also parishioners have been urged to consider neighbours by speaking in hushed tones and not slamming car doors when attending church.
A gate-keeper wearing a highly visible vest will also be on duty during services.
A place of worship is permitted in the area zoned general residential.
