Despite some good early signs from the Lady Bandits, the Rangers took control thanks to a 20-11 second quarter and never looked in doubt after that.
Size and rebounding were always going to be an issue against the dominant Lauren Scherf (16 points, 17 rebounds), but, to their credit, imports Adijat Adams (18 points, 13 rebounds) and Toccara Ross (14 points, 11 rebounds) more than held their own.
It was the depth of the Rangers that got the better of the Lady Bandits in the end, with starters Briahna Whatman (22 points), Aimee Clydesdale (10-9-5) and Clare Papavs (17-4-5) all filling the box score and proving difficult to stop for the home side.
The Lady Bandits, who are seventh in the eastern conference, will now turn their attention to the Canberra Capitals Academy, who are struggling at 1-6.
