TRINITY Anglican College students and staff took in a compelling lecture on the value of ‘True Vision’ on Monday.

Ben Pettingill, a motivational speaker who lost 98 per cent of his vision at the age of 16, spoke to students about the importance of embracing resilience and pushing beyond limitations.

“Hopefully I can give them a story to inspire and challenge them to take on a new perspective,” he said.

“For the younger kids, it’s all about getting rid of pre-conceived ideas and judgements and living a limit-free life within themselves.

“It gives them a reality check, sometimes kids can get on a roll and take things for granted, this gives them a bit of grounding.”
