Corowa-Rutherglen’s two best available players will miss the away clash against Myrtleford on Saturday.
Veteran Kade Kuschert is on holidays, while exciting youngster Will Robinson has a previous commitment.
It comes on top of star recruits James Lawton and Adam Cullen serving out of the final week of their suspensions from the Riverina Football League last year.
“As long as we get some effort out of the boys, the scoreboard will be irrelevant,” Roos’ coach Terry Burgess said.
“We just need to get through it and hopefully not get too many injuries and just look to get a day where we’ve got a lot stronger side in.”
Myrtleford will never get a better chance to bounce back to form against a weakened Roos.
The Saints have been the most disappointing outfit of the first five rounds.
They scored one of the greatest comeback wins against Lavington, but followed that with a poor display against Wodonga.
