The result gives Diamonds breathing space from United in third place and keeps them within striking distance of Albury City and Boomers at the top.
Meredith Quick finished with a brace, while Jovanna Bukvic and Breannan McCabe also netted goals.
Boomers were far from their best, but managed to take care of Melrose, 3-1, at Glen Park.
Albury Hotspurs were too strong for Cobram Roar at Aloysius Park, finishing 6-1 victors, while Myrtleford won the local derby, 3-1, against Wangaratta City.
St Pats and Albury City enjoyed the weekend off.
