The alleged victim needs a walking frame and is “basically wheelchair bound”, the Wodonga Magistrates Court heard during a committal hearing on Tuesday.
The mother told the court she had warned a woman to be careful after the alleged sexual assault by the 64-year-old, who has been charged with a string of sexual offences dating back over a nine-year period.
“Because of what happened with my daughter, I just think the mother (instinct) just kicked in,” she said.
She had seen a woman walking past with her primary-school aged child and felt the need to issue the warning.
One of Brock’s ex-partners also gave evidence about several alleged incidents, including one where he allegedly drew faces on a girl's body near or below her underwear during a gathering.
“It just made me feel a little bit uncomfortable,” she said.
Brock had also tickled the girl, which was common for him to do, she said.
The girl's parents were also present, which alleviated some of the woman's concerns, but the court heard other reports of similar incidents were also made to the woman.
In another incident, Brock had “appeared quite shocked” after a teenager reported that he had groped her breast.
The teen’s friend told the court she had broken down shortly after the incident and feared no-one would believe her.
“She was very shaken up,” he said.
The girl also feared telling her mum what had allegedly occurred.
Another friend recalled the girl saying “Bill just groped me” after the alleged incident.
A police officer who spoke to a teenager after an alleged rape in Wodonga last May – the last allegation prior to his arrest – said the girl had appeared quiet and withdrawn.
Brock has about 14 alleged victims.
The hearing, which will determine if there is enough evidence for him to stand trial, will continue through the week.
