Shared Value expert Phil Preston will speak on the benefits in Shared Value, which generated returns for business and communities.
“Shared Value is looking for the social benefit where there is also a benefit for business,” he said.
“Shared Value is trying to identify case studies where there is leverage for everybody.”
Mr Preston works across Shared Value projects in Albury, Griffith and Wagga.
His workshops aim to educate businesses and community organisations on how to develop partnerships along the Shared Value principles.
Family and Community Services regional coordinator Western region Donna Argus gained a grant to host the visit.
She hopes to run a Shared Value pilot at Thurgoona.
The Shared Valued breakfast meeting runs from 8am at Thurgoona Community Centre while Northside Chamber of Commerce hosts a workshop from 1pm.
