The Roar have gone undefeated in their last six matches, with wins against Melrose, Myrtleford and Albury Hotspurs in the last three weeks, but will face another huge test at home to an out of sorts Wangaratta City outfit on Sunday.
Cobram defender Steven Cigana isn’t writing the Devils off, despite back-to-back losses to Melrose and Myrtleford in the past fortnight.
“Everyone is going to drop games throughout the year, it’s just a matter of trying to mitigate them,” Cigana said.
“We’re starting to string a few wins together and want to keep building to get ourselves in the best position we can.
“We’ve obviously had a good four to five weeks, but it means nothing if we can’t continue it this weekend.
“We’ll do our best to beat another contender, because we know they’ll be there at the end of the year.”
