The group will now be known as Business Wodonga, with chair John Gibbons saying the time was right to ensure its brand “evolves to reflect the exciting new direction that our city is headed”.
“This rebrand comes after a number of years working to clarify the purpose of a chamber and on its role in supporting the business community,” he said.
“It became clear that we exist to create an environment for the Wodonga business community to thrive by connecting and engaging with others in business. The new brand encompasses everyone in our region who is in business not just ‘men in suits’ who are traditionally associated with a chamber”.
Business Wodonga membership vitality manager Tara Leach said it’s “a great time for business” in Wodonga.
“We want to help grow, engage and connect all businesses within our region,” she said.
