The pair, along with Corowa-Rutherglen, is destined to fill the bottom three spots with their only win of the season against the Roos.
But Gilson doesn’t see it as a battle of the club’s gun players.
“(Rovers co-coach Sam) Carpenter and (North Albury’s) Shaun (Mannagh), they’ll get 30 touches most weeks,” Gilson said.
“(Rovers’ Shane) Gaston dominates the rucks and (Sean) O’Keeffe will give them drive and Lachie (Taylor-Nugent) will play well for us, while (North co-coach) Daniel (Leslie) will do everything.
“They’ll all play well, no matter the opposition, it’s probably that bottom eight to 10 from both sides, that 12 to 21 as a group can play better and I think if our 12-21 win their positions, that will go a long way to winning the game.”
Both teams are coming off heavy losses.
