Benalla pair Isabel Stephens, 89, and her daughter Judy, 53, were last seen in Tatong about 1pm on Sunday afternoon.
They had travelled to the town for lunch and their movements since leaving remain unknown.
The search has moved to waterways in the Benalla region, with police, the SES and other agencies searching Lake Rowan and Lake Nillahcootie on Friday.
Tatong and Whitfield are also areas of interest in the search.
There have been few developments since the search began, but there are concerns the risk increases as time passes.
Judy has an intellectual disability and is insulin dependent, requiring daily medication.
Her mother's age is also of concern.
The pair are thought to be travelling in a white Toyota Yaris with Victorian registration WAB580.
Anyone with information can contact police at Benalla on (03) 5760 0200.
