The contestants are preparing for the Cancer Council NSW fundraiser’s big night at Albury Entertainment Centre.
Albury-Wodonga identities have been paired with professional dancers and committed to learning a routine over eight weeks and trying to raise $2500.
Mel Fawcett, who is representing Mass Nutrition Albury, said training with her dance partner Werner Skrypczak had been going well.
“I’ve really enjoyed it, I just can’t believe it’s come around so fast,” she said.
Miss Fawcett had watched her sister dance in Griffith’s event last year.
“I just think bringing the community together like that and raising money for the Cancer Council is great, so I just wanted to be a part of it,” she said.
Tickets sales for the gala night, individual or tables of eight, end at the close of business Tuesday and can be bought from the Albury Entertainment Centre in person, by phone or online.
