The classy forward kicked two goals in a minute during the first term, but was kept goalless from there, although, in his defence, it was a terrible display by his team and he still featured in Raiders’ best.
“When they (Raiders) came out quick I got caught out in front of him a few times but, other than that, it was good,” he said.
It was his first game at Lavington Sportsground since the 2015 grand final.
“He’s a terrific talent and he’s ‘Lavi’ through and through, it was great to have him and we’d love to have him again,” Panthers’ coach James Saker said.
It’s uncertain if the defender will play another game.
“It’s dictated by the coaches,” he said.
“Last week I didn’t play so they said this week you’re right to come back.”
Werribee has another bye on the June long weekend.
