Detective Senior Constable Ray Causer said the amount of loose tobacco and cigarette tubes seized during Friday morning’s raid was more than the five kilograms of tobacco seized seven months ago.
A 44-year-old Wangaratta man, employed at Aussie Gift and Accessories, was arrested and charged with possessing proceeds of crime.
“Police may be speaking to customers who have purchased tobacco products from the store in relation to how large a scale it operated on,” Detective Causer said.
