Albury, Billabong, Murray and James Fallon High year eight to year 11 students joined peers from several Riverina schools to participate in play-building and performance workshops led by professional tutors.
James Fallon drama teacher Anni Gifford is coordinating the camp, which is being attended by professional actor Matthew Coleman and Melbourne director Madelaine Stewart among others.
“Coming to this camp can be a very transformative experience for these kids,” Ms Gifford said.
“A lot of them come from places where there might only be a couple of people who share their interest in performing arts – this can spark a real passion.”
