Lavington has jumped two spots into the top three on the back of a 119-point drubbing of Wangaratta Rovers.

And for one of the few times this year, the Panthers sustained no fresh injuries in the 24.16 (160) to 6.5 (41) win.

The Holman brothers – Nick and Kris – kicked four goals apiece, while Jack Nunn landed three.

“We’re just happy to play four quarters again, we probably could have taken our foot off the pedal late, but we kept endeavouring to do things we’d talked about,” coach James Saker said.

The win allowed the Panthers to boost their percentage by more than 16 to almost 150.
