While Leon Higgins’ line-up was brave in defeat last weekend, a poor second quarter cost his team the points.
“We were pretty good but paid for a poor second quarter.” Higgins said.
“Hopefully we can put together four quarters this week.”
The Bushrangers have lost debutant Patrick Warner to injury, while North Albury’s Doulton Langlands will play for the Allies in the AFL national under-18 carnival.
Corowa-Rutherglen’s Jy Lane will play for Greater Western Sydney in the NEAFL.
Sam Beasley returns from a stint with Cobram’s seniors while Laitham Vandermeer plays his first game of the season following school football commitments.
Dave Smith also returns to the team after consistent performances at club level for Mooroopna.
The Bushrangers have named 12 bottom age players as part of the Futures Rounds program.
The Eastern Ranges are coming off a 33-point loss to Western Jets.
Sunday’s match starts at 11.30am.
