Sir John, who was knighted in 2003 for services to education, will address attendees about the power they have to transform loves and how the role of teachers can adapt to the modern world.

Catholic College principal Darren Hovey said it would be an opportunity for regional teachers to enjoy quality professional development without having to travel to a capital city.

“This is the second time we've offered PD opportunities to teachers in our region, regardless of whether they're from primary or secondary schools,” he said.
