Sedgwick was involved in a sickening collision with fellow Azzi medallist Luke Schilg during the final quarter of Saturday’s loss to Henty at Burrumbuttock.
He was knocked out and taken from the ground by ambulance.
“I’m not too bad,” Sedgwick said.
“I just broke a little bone in my nose and burst a blood vessel.
“I’ll only miss a couple of games which was the plan before the season anyway because I’m going to Port Douglas fishing for a couple of weeks.
“There were three ambulances called on the day and ‘Schilgy’ caused two of them.”
Sedgwick has been in sparkling form the reigning premier this season with the midfielder close to best-on-ground in their last two matches against Holbrook and Henty.
While the Saints haven’t been able to emulate their consistency of the past two seasons, the 2014 Azzi medallist isn’t panicking.
They had a handful of key players missing in the loss to Henty including Justin, Jared and Josh Koschitzke, Alex Wilson and Eddie Ziebarth.
“I don’t think we have peaked yet which isn’t a bad thing,” Sedgwick said.
“We are going along OK.
“I think everyone in the league has got better as well, it’s a much tighter competition.”
Brock-Burrum will return to the winning list by defeating Billabong Crows at Burrumbuttock on Saturday.
The Crows showed huge improvement to hit the lead against sixth-placed Murray Magpies last weekend before falling just short of a surprise victory.
Coach Al Austin remains on the injured list while Tom Hofert has crossed to Barnawartha.
Jindera faces one of its toughest tests of the season against Henty at Jindera.
The Swampies can virtually lock away a spot in the finals with a victory and their midfield of Heath Ohlin, Taylor Clark, Dustin Rogers and Andrew Yates should get them close.
Kerry Bahr’s side has been running out games strongly and the clash could come down to whether Henty has the late run to go with it.
Osborne should go into the general bye with a 12-0 record by defeating CDHBU at Osborne.
The Cats will look to promote young gun Bill Alexander from the under-17s after he turned in a dominant performance last weekend in his comeback from hamstring problems.
Murray Magpies do battle with Lockhart at Urana Road Oval.
With a tough run ahead, the Magpies can’t afford any slip ups and Michael Sims, Josh and Daniel Maher and Will McGrath will ensure there are no surprises on home turf.
