Detective Senior Constable Justin Foots said the woman managed to take a photo of both vehicles at the next intersection, after they had passed her about 2pm.
”The lady was concerned for her safety due to the erratic nature of the driving – she stated she was still shaking half an hour after the incident,” he said.
“Both cars are suspected to be involved in a string of other offences in the Wodonga area.”
Police have asked for information on a white Toyota Lexcen, displaying stolen number plates ZFS-239, and a silver VE Holden Commodore, displaying number plates ULS-512 and a ‘metal mulisha’ sticker on the rear window.
They have not been able to contact the registered owner of the car.
Detective Foots said any information received would be treated in the strictest confidence.
