The Pigeons’ best and fairest played for Essendon’s VFL team last week and has been named in an extended squad for the clash against Northern Blues at Windy Hill.
“He’s been told he’s playing for us,” Kennedy said.
“He texted me on Tuesday night and said he was right for us and I haven’t heard any different.”
Another VFL player in Collingwood’s Lach Howe has also been confirmed for the Pigeons at home.
North has listed six players as emergencies, including Werribee’s Aiden Adams.
Yarrawonga holds down second spot and boasts a massive percentage lead over the other three teams on 32 points.
And it could be the Pigeons’ last chance to receive a significant boost to their percentage against one of the bottom teams, given they face finals contenders in the run home.
