The Holden Captiva was taken from Camola Court about 5am on Friday.
Police believe the car was driven around town before being dumped at the end of the Stock Route, near House Creek, and torched.
The vehicle was destroyed.
Detective Leading Senior Constable Ian Deverell said police were keen to speak to anyone who had seen the car being driven.
“It's an expensive vehicle,” he said.
“It's a senseless crime – I don't know why these people continue to steal cars and burn them out.
“There's no benefit from it.”
It was unclear where exactly the thieves travelled after stealing the car.
