It will mark the fourth edition of the memorial match.
The shield was first introduced in 2014 in memory of Van Der Steeg, who died aged just 24 in a tragic car crash in 2013.
His younger brother, Ryan, is the club captain at Wangaratta, but will miss the rest of the season after undergoing a knee reconstruction last week.
The Devils will be out for revenge after a 6-0 loss at Savoy Park earlier in the season where Myrtleford co-coach Matt Park ran rampant with five goals against an undermanned Wangaratta defence.
Attacking midfielder Mason Hope hope will miss through suspension after two yellow cards in last weekend’s win against Boomers, in what will be an otherwise full strength side.
Wangaratta assistant coach Mario Antonello said Ivo Madeira and Brendan Barton both played well in the reserves and could feature in the senior line-up on Sunday.
