They’ve had a number of close losses in recent weeks, and face familiar opposition in Nunawading and Ballarat – two teams they’ve faced in the last month.
After two weeks out, import Toccara Ross will return to the court, albeit on a minutes restriction, and coach Jim Wilson is hoping the younger players who stepped up in her absence can maintain their intensity.
“Giving those younger players minutes in Toccara's absence unearthed a new level of confidence for them,” Wilson said.
“She won't play the full 40 minutes, but it'll mean we can give Adijat (Adams) some rest and throw a different look at the opposition.
“We made a few mistakes against these sides when we last played them which we've since corrected – the next step is turning that into a win.”
The Lady Bandits face the Nunawading Lady Spectres on Saturday afternoon before backing up against the Ballarat Rush on Sunday afternoon.
