St Matthews church is holding an animal concert and barbecue fundraiser to help Georgie’s owner Erika Grimes pay for thousand of dollars in vet bills this Saturday.
Ms Grimes said the community support since the attack had been amazing, but bills were still outstanding.
She said any additional money raised would go to RSPCA. Rangers are still looking for the staffy and owner.
